Senator Specter has had his battles with cancer of the years.  After receiving multiple emails and tweets this morning it is now confirmed the Senator has finally succumbed to that which he has battled for so long.

He had recently been admitted to the hospital as he continued his battle with this disease.  Sadly, I had a feeling this would be the ultimate end game after so many years battling this.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.  Despite his political world he was a father and husband who was dearly loved.

I know he rests in the hands of God.  Let him rest in peace.

As for me I will continue to fight all that he represented in the political realm.  I thank him for helping awaken the sleeping giant.  He played a key role in waking the citizenry of this nation to a government that no longer listened and continued their wrecklessness.

Katy.

You are one of the pioneers of the TeaParty movement and I appreciate your huge efforts in Pa.

The sleeping giant is wide awake and will win.

The left is so far out of control and frantic to keep a guy in power who should not be in the White House even on a tour.

Keep up the great work!

I just read about you in the late Sen. Specter's autobiography. In a few years you and the rest of you filthy traitorous nazi-fascist Tea Party vermin will be as dead as the Whig Party and the Prohibitionists. You people are the SCUM of America. We' ve just reelected our fine president and in 2016 we'll elect a Democrat. Nazi fascist conservative cockroaches like you will be extinct-the sooner the better. Hope you enjoyed this e-mail. By the way-your fat and ugly.

It’s been sad news to the whole community about the passing of the senator. My thoughts and prayers are with his soul and his family. He fought well in his life and suffered a lot with the disease
