Utter chills. About an hour ago as I was brushing my teeth with Fox & Friends on in the background, country music star Clay Walker was singing the praises of Rick Perry. Apparently they have been friends for 15 years and now Presidential hopeful, Rick Perry, has asked Walker to use a song off his album for the campaign. OK, that sounds great. Until you listen further into the interview. Walker admits was a fan of Obama's and "thought he had a lot of great ideas when he was elected...I think he had good intentions, but I don't think the change has happened." Then the next thing out of his mouth is, "I think Rick Perry is the guy who can fulfill those good intentions and that change." If that is the case count me out on the Perry campaign. Katy, that was good thanks for sharing. This is not a ploy from the Liberals, they have jumped ship like the rats they are when it comes to Obama. They see the population of border jumper’s in TX filling up those minimum wage jobs (growth?). Perry cut a lot from the state budget, let’s see what happens there. Chills and eye candy. ;)

Walker is either a semi-recovering Kool Aid addict who simply doesn't understand the progressive agenda ("fundamental transformation of America") or he's disappointed OweBummer hasn't done MORE to achieve the goal to bring America down. Yes, Perry is the perfect fit for his convictions then. The difference between Perry and OweBummer is the speed they intend to 'progress' America farther LEFT. The direction won't change... just the speed of our demise. Perry is NOT the 'Restoration candidate!'

I'm a Clay Walker fan, but I saw the interview too and caught what he said just as you did Katy. If he wants to let Perry use his song to help him I feel it will backfire if he feels Perry can fulfill Obama's intentions. I found a True American Patriot Country Christian Constitutionalist Conservative singer/songwriter who's song's are inspired by the Lord and she was inducted into the Old Country Western Hall of Fame on 9/3/11 and a few days ago her song "Loretta's Shoes" was put in contention for a Grammy; she is Joyce Shaffer and you can hear some of her songs at www.JoyceUSA.net ! She is educating people through her songs as to what is happening to our country. Let me know if you want me to email you some info I have on her and if you want me to get you in touch with her.

Katy, with all due respect, listen to Clay's comments again, this time focusing and not being distracted with brushing your teeth or other diversion. Walker stated clearly that he's not politcally savvy and that he did want to believe in the change and he was impressed with Obama's speaking ability. It's clear he also feels terribly let down and that Obama has failed. Thousands of Independents flocked to Obama in '08, as did thousands of Republicans. Do we not want them to come home to the Republican Party? To the average person hoping to reclaim our great nation from the jaws of disaster, its great news when a former Obama voter decides to leave him in the dust and instead, align with a conservative candidate, isn't it!? To express having 'utter chills' and after hearing one sentence you declare yourself a non-Perry supporter reveals, quite frankly, a closed mind. How will conservatives win back the WH in '12? They must draw in not just all Republicans, at least half the Independents but also a significant number of disgruntled Democrats. Clay Walker spoke quite eloquently about Perry's leadership, successes in Texas and his political astuteness. Again, I encourage you to re-watch the video you took the time to post at your webpage but obviously did not take the time to fully evaluate with an unbiased mind and a tendency toward trying to trash a candidate you didn't support PRIOR to this Fox News segment. I hope by this point in time, you agree that any of our GOP candidates are far superior to Barack Hussein Obama and as Christians, Constitutionalists and conservatives we should hold ourselves accountable to a higher standard than bashing a good man's name and effort to serve his country using one-liner's and taking quick sound bytes out of an interview when viewed in its entirety with full attention, comes across far differently than your critique given here.
